Mother

Mother is the first word that most of us have uttered after coming to this world. We start seeing the world from her eyes even before we are born. We copy everything that is said by her.

But when we grow up, most often we want to keep little distance from her. May be asking her to stay little far when she drops us to school, or may be we move out just to get little freedom from her.

Are we programmed to be away from our mother? Is she programmed to do what ever she does for us?

As parent, I feel proud when my daughter does something good. But I dont worry about my sick mother... is it all programming? Can GOD be so brutal on mothers who are ready to give life for babies?

  2. True .. but It's also true we always take our loved one for granted and I feel in whole world your mother is the one who is the most closest person to you..we do not appreciate what she is doing or has done for us till now, however we expect she should always stand by us in any situation.. For anyone it's not easy to forget his/her mother ..

  3. Basically our kids are nature's revenge/reward of how we treat our parents.
This famous oft-related story comes to mind.
There's a well-to-do joint family where a disabled old grandfather is being treated very badly. So bad, that he is served meal-leftovers in one earthen pot, which is never washed or cleaned. One day the grandfather accidentally breaks that pot.
The grandson sees this and yells at him "You fool...couldn't U be more careful...Now how will I serve leftovers to my father, when he grows old" The father hears this...and it opens his eyes.
